From Death Row to Dream Home: Four Senior Chihuahuas Adopted

Julie Docherty was terrified of having a pet after moving to Los Angeles. She volunteered to walk dogs at a nearby shelter instead because it required a huge time commitment and she was still getting adjusted to her new surroundings. On her first visit to the shelter, she fell in love with MoMo, an 11-year-old Chihuahua, and ended up adopting him!

Julie, a kind-hearted animal lover, took in three additional Chihuahuas after learning about their owner’s many elderly pets. Her four toothless Chihuahuas – Benito, MoMo, Choli, and Paloma – are all full of love and personality.

These four adorable Chihuahuas are living their best lives together. They’re like a little senior dog club, doing everything from sunbathing to napping together.

Julie’s heart goes out to senior dogs, so she started adopting them to give them a loving home in their golden years. What a compassionate soul!
